The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where youll play a key part in keeping essential communication systems running when it matters most.
Working evening/night shifts, youll:
* Investigate and resolve radio faults across vehicles such as buses and trams
* Take ownership of your workload, planning and prioritising tasks effectively
* Ensure the right equipment is available ordering and managing resources proactively
* Deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail
* Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, providing excellent service at all times
* Support your team and contribute to a right first time approach to quality and customer satisfaction

What were looking for
Were keen to hear from engineers who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset. Youll have:
* A strong technical background with hands-on experience in radio systems
* Knowledge of RF technologies such as DMR, Analogue, VHF and Cellular
* Experience programming radio templates
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel requirements.
The details
* Location: Leyland (on-site)
* Role type: Full-time, permanent
* Shift pattern: Evening / night shift
* 37.5 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday evenings/nights as standard - times will vary.
* Transport made available to travel to site from Leyland offices.
