Area Sales Manager – Boilers & Heat Pumps
Plumbing & Heating Wholesalers & One-off Installers
Territory: Hertfordshire / Cambridgeshire / Bedfordshire / North London
A field-based Area Sales Manager role focused on driving installer demand and wholesale growth across an established but high-potential territory.
You will take ownership of a strong existing customer base, while actively increasing installer pull-through for boilers and heat pumps across plumbing & heating wholesalers.
The Role of Area Sales Manager
* Drive installer demand for boilers and heat pumps across the territory
* Develop and grow relationships with plumbing & heating wholesalers at branch level
* Identify, engage and convert new one-off installers through merchant partners
* Deliver product training and technical support to branch teams
* Conduct joint visits with wholesalers to generate new business opportunities
* Increase product visibility, stock profile and in-branch sales performance
* Manage a structured field sales plan across CB, IP, SG and MK
* Act as the key territory contact for demand generation and account growth

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager role
* Proven field sales experience within plumbing & heating, HVAC or trade distribution
* Strong experience working with installers and plumbing & heating merchants
* Background selling boilers, heat pumps or heating systems (preferred)
* Strong track record of driving demand through branch-level relationships
* Commercially strong with solid territory management skills
* Self-motivated, organised and target driven
* Strong communicator and relationship builder
The Package for the Area Sales Manager
* Up to £60,000 basic salary
* 20% OTE
* Hybrid company car
* 7% pension contribution
* Private healthcare (including medical cover)
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
