Welcome to the Warehouse Operative - Andover position at Ocado Logistics.
Overview
As a Warehouse Operative you will be at the core of preparing orders for our customers, working in our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Andover. There are a variety of areas and shift options available, allowing you to plan your work‑life balance with our core roster. You will receive your work pattern 6‑13 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to organise your personal schedule.
Areas & Shifts
You may work in the following areas, each with day or night shifts:
* Dispatch (07:00 – 17:00 or 21:00 – 07:00) – Load individual totes into frames and onto delivery vans, and sort returning totes. This is a physical role that requires lifting heavy items.
* Pick (05:00 – 15:00 or 19:00 – 05:00) – Pick and pack customer orders into shopping totes, handling goods with care while assisted by our robots.
* Inbound (06:00 – 17:00 or 19:00 – 06:00) – Receive goods from suppliers and place them into totes for the picker and robot workflow.
* Freezer (05:00 – 15:00 or 19:00 – 05:00) – Pick and pack frozen items for orders in a large freezer. Full gear is provided for temperatures up to –25 °C.

Salary and Premiums
* Hourly Pay rate: £12.35
* Night shift premium (11:45 pm – 5:45 am): £3.34 per hour
* Freezer Premium: £0.80 per hour
* Overtime paid at basic × 1.25
