Certain Advantage is hiring for Mechanical Engineers based in the Southwest area.
This role is permanent and hybrid-based.
Overview
We’re working with an engineering company specializing in solving complex engineering challenges across industries—including Power Generation and Rail.
Responsibilities
This role is for a Mechanical Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
* Mechanical engineering support
* Periodic reviews of maintenance regimes and activities
* Scope, design, and propose modifications to existing assets or new facilities
* Maintaining the configuration of technical drawings and documentation
* Support the planning and execution of installation, commissioning and testing
Qualifications
We’re looking for people who can show:
* Foundation degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Relevant mechanical engineering experience in a highly regulated industry
* Knowledge and awareness of mechanical systems
* Proficiency in the production of hand calculations/Mechanical maintenance
* Experience in the design process and producing evidence of the design and substantiation of systems and components
