Our Client
Our client is a prestigious higher education institution based in central London, known for its academic excellence, innovation, and global reach.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable
Perform periodic bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including audits and regulatory returns
Maintain the chart of accounts and manage intercompany transactions
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial metrics
Assist with VAT, PAYE, CT, OfS, and other statutory filings
Contribute to financial reporting and compliance with internal policies
Support system development and process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to enhance financial understanding
Key Requirements
Working towards a Chartered Accountant qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with accounting software
Available to start immediately
What’s On Offer?
Up to £45,000 per annum
