Overview of the role Working as part of the Social Inclusion Team, the role will deliver on Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation’s Switch It Project. The role will also support the delivery of Premier League Kicks Programme. The delivery will focus on high-quality, engaging and supportive one-to-one mentoring as well as small group workshops based on identified themes such as Mental Health and Wellbeing and Knife Crime. Key Relationships Internal: Head of Foundation Senior Operations Manager Social Inclusion Team External: Schools Community Organisations Job Description Plan, prepare and deliver a range of targeted interventions to children and young people who are referred to our Switch It Project. These sessions predominately take place within school settings. Build positive, trusted relationships with young people through implementing early and responsive intervention based on individual needs. Be a positive role model for children and young people. Work with other multi-agency organisations to provide wrap-around support for the young person and their family. Create and sustain partnerships with local schools and organisations to provide suitable exit strategies for participants. Support and encourage children and young people (of your caseload) to access Premier League Kicks on an evening. Support with the delivery of other programmes/sessions across Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation which includes some evening and weekend work. Examples include Premier League Kicks, Match Day and Holiday Camps. Undertake administrative tasks and communicate with different stakeholders. Support with the data collection with support from your Line Manager and the Data and Impact Coordinator. Demonstrate a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, including adapting resources and engagements to ensure equal opportunities for all. Adhere to health and safety requirements with support of your Line Manager and the Health and Safety Manager. Be committed to safeguarding and working with Safeguarding Ambassadors and the Designated Safeguarding Officer. Promote the vision, mission and core values of Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation. Any offer of employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory. Once in post, all new staff will receive a comprehensive safeguarding induction from our Designated Safeguarding Officer, as well as ongoing safeguarding training.
