Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club Security Officers are a part of a highly professional team of safety and security providers and are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and skill sets for the benefit of the community and department.
Taymouth Security Officers are responsible for the safety and well-being of all members, their guests, and colleagues. A detect, deter, observe, and report posture will be utilised by Security Officers. If a situation requires intervention at any level, you must be prepared to act accordingly and within the guidelines set out by the Security Department policy. You should adopt a “concierge security” approach while working with our distinguished membership and their guests.

Responsibilities
Discover the role
You provide safe residential and working environments for all members, guests, and colleagues by identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks. Maintain the personal “concierge” security approach with all members, guests, and colleagues while on property.
Dispatch and coordinate a response to incidents that occur on club premises, or at club events, using the appropriate communication methods. Responses may be to medical emergencies, burglar, intruder, fire, or duress alarms. You may be required to liaise with law enforcement, fire, or other public safety organisations related to emergencies at or near company property.
Assess, and escalate any possible instances of threats in the workplace. Report out of the ordinary or abnormal conditions to the company’s security personnel, management, employees, and operations team.
Provide seamless entry for all authorised individuals into property. Prevent any unauthorized access to the property and the use of its facilities. Assist in the coordination of service requests requiring after-hours access to Club Properties.
Navigate mobile applications to report and record tasks. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal and computer skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management. Document all instances of possible threats in the workplace. List any documentation, images, video footage, emails, messages, or physical items relevant to the threat. Develop concise, fact-based incident reports for distribution to various Club Security Management.
Provide a medical response capability for members, guests, and colleagues while on club property, or engaged in any club-facilitated activity. Or, at any other geographic location in and around the property. Provide a fire response capability to all structures inside the community. You ensure all work is completed and compliant with the high standards associated with our club and facilities. We do the right thing, ensure when you assist third party contractors that this is upheld.
Maintain the personal “concierge” security approach with all members, guests, and colleagues while on property. Partner with Club Management, Facilities & Construction, Network Operations, Maintenance and Medical teams during business impacting incidents or events. Uphold our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence. We respect people, places, and culture, and as an Ambassador of Taymouth Castle – spokesperson, advocate, and supporter.
Conduct both Foot and Mobile patrols, you should be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and required to perform physical tasks as part of role. Day, night, and weekend shifts required.
Qualifications
Discover you
Proven experience with the equivalent of three years full-time in a Security function, Law Enforcement, or the Military. Prior experience and training together with FREC 3 preferred. An SIA license and a valid clean UK driving License will be required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
