We're working with a leading Microsoft-focused cyber security consultancy that is expanding its security practice and looking to appoint a Microsoft Security Architect. This is a client-facing position where you'll lead the design and delivery of Microsoft security solutions for enterprise customers, helping organisations improve their security posture across identity, cloud, endpoint, data protection, and threat detection.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Microsoft security professional who holds the SC-100 certification and wants to work on large-scale security transformation programmes while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
* Designing Microsoft security architectures across Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments
* Leading client workshops, discovery sessions, and security strategy engagements
* Delivering solutions covering identity, endpoint, cloud, infrastructure, and data security
* Providing architectural guidance across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID, and Purview
* Conducting security assessments and defining remediation and improvement roadmaps
* Supporting cloud migration and wider security transformation initiatives
* Producing solution designs, architecture documentation, and technical recommendations
* Working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery
* Advising clients on Microsoft security best practices, governance, and emerging threats
What we’re looking for
* SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect certification
* Experience as a Security Architect, Microsoft Security Architect, or Senior Security Consultant
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and Purview
* Experience designing security solutions within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
* Good understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security frameworksKnowledge of identity and access management, cloud security, endpoint security, and security operations
* Experience producing architecture documentation, security designs, and technical roadmaps
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
