Being a support worker is more than just a job, it's a career where you have the ability to make someone's day and put a smile on their face, creating opportunities for happiness!
You will be supporting and enabling adults with their daily routines, which can range from a trip into town for a cake, coffee, and natter to preparing their evening meal – The best thing is that each day is different!
You do not need to have worked in the care sector before. As long as you have the passion to support others, we will provide all the training you need to become a great support worker. The work may involve supporting people with their personal care (for example, washing, using the toilet, or shaving).
We have Supported Living and Outreach services in Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Sutton in Ashfield, and surrounding areas looking for their next team member. Please get in touch if you are interested in a specific setting.
We currently only have casual hours available.

At Choice Support, we care about getting to know the real you—what you care about, your experiences, and why you want to work with us. Please ensure your answers reflect who you are. If you have used AI to assist with your application or CV, just let us know—it's not a problem! Remember, providing false information could lead to your application being withdrawn, as it goes against our values.
Choice Support is Disability Confident, a scheme run by the Department of Work and Pensions. As part of our commitment, we operate a guaranteed interview scheme—candidates who declare a disability and meet the essential criteria for the role will be guaranteed an interview. If you consider yourself to have a disability or long-term chronic health condition, or if you require any adjustments/support during the application/selection process, please contact us at ellie.dent@choicesupport.org.uk so we can discuss your needs.
