Role: Finance Assistant – (JPC-88)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE

Overview:
We’re working with a leading consultancy in the built environment sector that’s seeking a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and professional team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in finance administration or accounts support who’s looking to develop their skills within a structured and supportive environment. You’ll assist with daily finance operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting, while supporting the wider finance team in ensuring smooth day-to-day processes.
Role Requirements:
A proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills, good Excel knowledge, and a genuine interest in progressing within finance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales & Purchase Invoices (Quickbooks)
* Credit Control
* Processing mileage & expenses
* Month end journals & reconciliations
* Petty cash maintenance
* Credit card analysis and posting
* VAT return
* Electronic filing
Essential Requirements:
* Eligible to live and work in the UK
* Able to work from the office full time (role is on-site, in Sevenoaks, 5 days a week)
* Strong attention to detail
* Use own initiative
* Organised & efficient
* Proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel (including formulas)
* Able to work well under pressure
* 3+ years all round finance experience
Desirable, but not essential:
* Experience of working within the construction industry
* AAT Level 2 & 3
