Water Utility Company based in Yorkshire region of England.
Location
Bradford / Hybrid Working – minimum of 1 day per week in Bradford. Initially based in Bradford but moving office to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Rural Surveyor to join the Estates Team in Land and Property at Yorkshire Water.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of tenanted land and properties, working with internal and external stakeholders and contract partners to ensure the rural estate is managed both efficiently and compliantly.
* Provide support to the Lead Rural Surveyor and other surveyors within the Estates Team on general estate matters, landlord and tenant issues, rent reviews, lease renewals, new lettings and property acquisitions and disposals in relation to the implementation of the company's strategy.
* Work with Project and Building Surveyor teams to support with planning and delivering programmes of works across the estate.
* Support on and assist with all aspects of the day‑to‑day running of the estate, including helping to answer estate‑related enquiries.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to help problem‑solve and aid in identifying risks and opportunities throughout the estate.
* Provide support on land and property audit inspections.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Hold an MRICS accredited degree.
* Commitment to professional development, including working towards successful completion of RICS APC.
* Good communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
* Good presentation and report writing skills.
* A good team player with the ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively.
* Drive excellent standards, behaviours and performance in Health & Safety, Risk Management and conduct at work ensuring compliance with YW safety policy.
* Demonstrate Company Values and Behaviours.
* A proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* A full driving licence.
