Position: Customer Assistant - Deli
Location: Burford, Cotswolds
Hours: .25 per week, Normal hours between 8am-4pm but may vary depending on business needs. Includes weekend working.

The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused assistant on the deli side in the butchers to join our team in Burford.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our shop's growth and support our dedicated team.
The Role:
The successful candidates would be responsible for the daily serving of the delicatessen including our food to go range of, hot rotisserie sandwiches, pulled pork buns, handmade pies and pasty's, quiches, pate's, salads and drinks.
This role will be a diverse roll with lots of potential for innovation and we welcome your own ideas on how we can increase our offering and strengthen our brand with quality artisan produce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide outstanding customer service and expertly serve customers at the counter.
* Collaborate with the store manager to manage stock inventory and ensure product freshness.
* Strictly adhere to HACCAP Guidelines to maintain food safety standards.
* Contribute to the presentation of the delicatessen counter by stocking, cutting, and displaying items.
* Prepare and serve customers as well as assist with tills when needed.
Qualifications and Attributes:
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Effective time management skills.
* Strong work ethic and a proactive, hands-on approach.
* A genuine enthusiasm for food.
* Previous experience working in a high-end food retail environment is highly desirable.
