Job overview
This is a ST4+ post in Neonatology. The post is one of six ST4-6 posts on the middle grade doctor rota in Neonatology at St Helier Hospital.
During the post trainees will obtain experience in our Level 2 Neonatal Unit.
This post is based at St Helier Hospital in Carshalton. The appointee will however work closely with colleagues on all sites, indeed the Trust expects all staff to be committed to cross-site working.

Babies born below 27 weeks are transferred to the local tertiary Neonatal Unit at St George's Hospital. Close links are maintained with the St George's team, who are also available to provide surgical and neurosurgical support. The Obstetric unit also caters for high-risk pregnancies with an obstetrician with special interest in high-risk obstetrics, another in fetal medicine and two obstetricians who are interested in infertility and in-vitro fertilization.
