JOB DESCRIPTION
About The Team:
This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive employee relations support to the organisation. Responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
What You Will Be Doing:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, case files and HR databases. Preparing reports on employee relations metrics.
2. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee enquiries, concerns, and conflicts, providing guidance and resolutions.
3. Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee relations issues promptly and effectively. Working effectively with the ER Executives across all sites and the ER Coordinator.
4. Supporting Investigation Managers with investigations, ensuring due process and policy is being followed. Support and facilitate disciplinary processes as necessary, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes across the sites.
5. Provide guidance, building relationships and support to managers on performance-related matters, including managing the probation periods of employees; coaching, feedback, and personal development plans.
6. Role modelling the Company’s DNA and help drive a high-performance culture by promoting employee engagement.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.. Ensuring all Right to Work obligations are adhered to.
8. Keep abreast of industry best practices and recommend improvements to HR processes and practices.
9. Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
Who You Are:
10. Proven HR experience in a HR advisory role who has managed cases up to and including dismissals.
11. Understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
13. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
14. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
