We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Housing & Litigation Solicitor/Barrister. Working within the litigation and regulatory team of legal services, you will handle all aspects of housing law on behalf of the Council, as well as be involved in general litigation work. Join a friendly, approachable, and motivated team that deals with all aspects of local authority law.
In this role, you will provide expert legal advice, representation, and advocacy on a wide range of housing matters, along with mainstream litigation work. You will collaborate closely with departments such as housing and homelessness, and social services, to ensure the Council receives the highest standard of legal support.
