Behaviour Support Assistant - Newcastle Full-time, Temporary/Permenant | £89-£103 per day (PAYE) Ready to make a difference where it matters most? We're teaming up with a welcoming Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Newcastle, supporting students who've had a tricky time in mainstream school. You'll help them rebuild trust, re-engage with learning, and achieve more than they thought possible. Your day-to-day: Support small groups and individual pupils with behaviour and learning Use de-escalation and restorative techniques to keep things calm and positive Encourage students to grow in confidence and stay engaged Work alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and external specialists What we're looking for: Resilient, positive, and confident in challenging situations A calm, patient approach (bonus points for a good sense of humour) Experience in SEMH or alternative provision is great, but not essential Team Teach or similar training is handy-we can help you get it if you haven't yet What you'll get from us: Weekly PAYE pay-no umbrella companies Free CPD, including behaviour management and safeguarding Support from your dedicated Newcastle consultant The chance to be part of a genuinely supportive, values-led team Interested?
