Job title: Stores Operative
Location: Harwich, Essex
Hours: 40 hours per week - 8x hours per day - Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £15.38p/h PAYE
Randstad Sourceright, on behalf of Siemens, is seeking a Stores Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and understand the importance of driving change. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual eager to learn and grow within this role.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Manage the end-to-end inventory process (ordering, receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and dispatching) and maintain accurate, fully auditable system and paper records to meet the stringent replenishment schedule for the crew transfer vessel.

Conduct weekly audits of the stores team's transactions to ensure accuracy and report findings to the line manager.
*
Support the stores team by managing, controlling, and securing critical inventory, including calibrated tools and safety equipment.
*
Ensure a consistently safe, clear, and clean working environment by adhering to all procedures, including equipment maintenance, performing weekly store audits against the checklist, and reporting all findings to the line manager.

Provide effective logistics solutions to the site Operations team to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.
*
Assist the Stores Supervisor in understanding and executing the weekly cycle and annual inventory check procedures, auditing the results, and assessing team performance.

Mon – Fri = 40hr week – Early shift 06.00 – 14.00 & Late shift 10.30 – 18. Optional overtime on request which could include weekends

Live within 45mins commuting distance of Galloper Wind Farm, Harwich, Essex.
