Lookers Carlisle Volkswagen is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Parts Manager to join our friendly, hard-working team on site. As a Parts Manager, you will lead a busy Parts Department, provide excellent customer service, and demonstrate a comprehensive technical understanding of the automotive trade. Joining our aftersales department, you should be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will be part of one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, with ongoing support to develop your skills and build a strong career within the industry.
* Lead your team in a fast-paced, busy environment
* Ensure retail and workshop customers are served quickly and efficiently, with all orders processed on the same day
* Achieve sales by prospecting, acquiring, and maintaining accounts, and actively promoting Parts and related promotions
* Answer customers’ questions regarding technical issues, warranties, and repairs in clear, understandable language
* Support company policies on security, especially regarding the protection of sensitive customer information
* Manage accurate data collection and provide forecasts on departmental performance
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to flawless customer service and passionate about the motor trade industry. Enthusiasm, drive, and motivation are essential to achieve excellent results. Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade is required. You must hold a full UK driving license, as you may need to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be meticulous with attention to detail, and maintain accurate records. A positive, friendly attitude, integrity, discretion, and the ability to work under pressure are also important.
