We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Assistant to join the Adult Protection Gateway Team within the Southern Health & Social Care Trust. The post-holder will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative support to the team, assisting in the smooth delivery of safeguarding and adult protection services. Main Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Adult Protection Gateway Manager and team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and filing systems (manual and electronic). Input data into Trust systems such as EPIC, PARIS, and other relevant databases. Assist with preparation of safeguarding reports, case conferences, and other governance-related documentation. Arrange and minute meetings, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, responding to routine queries and directing others appropriately. Support the team in meeting response targets and reporting deadlines. Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Essential Criteria 4 GCSEs (Grades AC) including English Language or equivalent / higher qualification, and 1 years experience in a clerical or administrative role OR 2 years experience in a clerical or administrative role Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team. Experience in minute-taking. Desirable Criteria Experience using the EPIC system. OCR/RSA/GCSE Stage 2 Word Processing (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent. Full current driving licence and access to a car for work purposes. Additional Information Access NI Enhanced Disclosure is required for this post. Mandatory training will be provided, including Adult Protection, transcribing APP1/AJP1 referrals, and MARAC information access. CMT training can be completed in post.
