The purpose
We are seeking a Domestic Abuse and VAWG Programme Manager to support the strategic leadership and co-ordination of the Council’s domestic abuse statutory duties and commissioning strategy. This important role will lead on a programme across the district to create positive results for residents and build safer, healthier, and more sustainable communities.
What I might be doing?
You will take a lead role in:
1. Whole system pathway development and integration of domestic abuse related services, community services and the Council’s Integrated Domestic Abuse Response Team (IDART).
2. Programme management, including commissioning and contract management, assessing need, reviewing service provision, risk management, governance; and facilitating action plans to support the Council’s domestic abuse statutory duties and commissioning strategy.
3. Actively supporting several boards and committees, including preparation and execution of reports as required.
4. Coordination of the Council’s Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Men and Boys Strategy
