Equans is looking for a Mobile Handy Man to join our team to be based out of Patchway Police Centre, BS34 6PY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,000.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700
What will you deliver?
* To undertake minor fabric reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
* To actively undertake proactive maintenance works.
* Low level PPM tasks as required.
* To replace lamps.
* Actively ensure that site housekeeping is kept to an acceptable standard particularly in plant rooms* Complete a daily walk round of the building to assess the integrity of all the area, internally and externally
* Report any faults to the Helpdesk immediately. If a H&S issue, rectify if capable and report retrospectively
* Carry out minor maintenance tasks following instruction from either the technicians/technical supervisor
* Take ownership and coordinate completion of the PPM tasks in support of the Technicians/Technical Supervisor
* Undertake and assist where/when necessary with the general grounds maintenance duties including litter picking, general tidying of the external grounds, emptying of general waste bins and cigarette bins
* Undertake gritting of the staff and public walkways and entrances to ensure safe access and egress
* Attend to any spillages as quickly as possible so as to eliminate any Health and Safety issues on site, assist the cleaning team with cleaning duties when required.
* Attend and remove any graffiti using the best approach given the type of surface, seek advice from Soft Services Manager if uncertain.
* To work within the requirements of EQUANS Health & Safety policy; having specific regard to colour coding, COSHH, Risk Assessments and safe working practices.
