We are a team of 35 and care for around 60 children per day. The right candidate will work closely with the nursery owners and manager to inspire our team and continuously develop our children and setting.We are looking for an experienced leader who is energetic, positive and passionate. Someone who is highly motivated, instils trust and is constantly striving to build on best practice and standards.The right candidate will ideally hold a level 3 recognised childcare qualification. The following qualifications and skills are also anticipated.· Designated Safeguarding Lead (Ideal)· Safer Recruitment training (Ideal)· Paediatric First Aid (Essential)· Food and Hygiene Level 2 (Essential)· Relevant SEN qualification (Ideal)· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (Essential)· Experience of working with external agencies (Essential)· Relevant forest school or outdoor learning qualification (Ideal)Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.*Key purpose of role*To provide high quality childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years on a daily basis, ensuring the safety and care of the children at all times. Adhering to all nursery policies and procedures.
