About the Position
We're looking for an experienced General Manager for a popular food‑led pub. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package. Marston's is one of the UK's largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Nested just off a prominent road network, the Hoghton Arms in Withnell is a delightful country pub, making it an ideal pit‑stop for destination diners, dog walkers, and local patrons. The venue boasts a generous open‑plan layout, inviting snug corners for chilly evenings, and a spacious beer garden with ample parking—perfect for hosting events during the warmer seasons. Brimming with rural charm, the pub achieves a weekly turnover of around £23,000, featuring a 30/70 wet‑to‑dry sales ratio, and consistently demonstrates annual growth, with significant opportunity yet to be realised.
