A leading defence engineering organisation is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to support the development and assurance of complex software-intensive systems. This is a key role within high-integrity engineering programmes where ensuring systems meet requirements and perform reliably is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support validation and verification activities to ensure systems meet technical requirements
* Define and develop test scenarios, success criteria, and verification strategies
* Produce verification plans and agree methods with engineering teams
* Collaborate with systems, software, and integration teams across the programme
* Contribute to delivering robust, reliable solutions for demanding operational environments
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in systems engineering or systems design, particularly with software-based systems
* Degree-qualified or equivalent technical experience
* Understanding of validation and verification processes within complex programmes
* Familiarity with SysML, DOORS, or Rhapsody is desirable (training provided if needed)
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
