ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Faculty Operations Manager, you will work on a day to day basis with academic colleagues in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, delivering a wide variety of administrative tasks such as diary management, finance and resources activity, organising and supporting meetings and events and ensuring processes for key business activities are effectively and efficiently delivered. A team player with previous administrative experience, you must be able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills, the ability to use your initiative, and have experience of introducing and maintaining effective and efficient admin systems. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently in a fast paced, customer focused environment with people at different levels in the organisations are also essential.
As a Faculty Administrator, you will be able to effectively manage your time and priorities in a busy customer focused environment.
You will deliver high-level responsive support to a Head of School or Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor, provide direct support to the Faculty Executive team, and reliable administrative assistance to academic colleagues in various Schools.
The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities such as diary management, meeting administration, organising events and academic recruitment panels, purchasing of goods and services, and arranging travel.
