I have an urgent role for a Linux Engineer holding active eDV Clearance on a contract basis. You'll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and improving Linux-based systems across development and production environments.
Rate: Up to £650 / day Outside IR35
Location: Gloucester
Key responsibilities
* Administer and maintain Linux servers and infrastructure
* Troubleshoot system, network, and performance issues
* Automate routine tasks using Bash, Python, or similar tools
* Support deployments, security updates, and system monitoring
* Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams
Requirements
* Strong experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL)
* Knowledge of scripting and automation
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, networking, and security best practices
* Experience with monitoring and configuration management tools
