Job Title: Community Safety Lead
Location: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week in Hemel Hempstead office)
Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Interim
We are currently seeking an experienced Community Safety Lead to join our team on an interim basis, providing cover during a period of maternity leave.
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend the Hemel Hempstead office at least once per week, alongside remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee the delivery of community safety initiatives and interventions
* Manage and support a small team of 2 Community Safety Officers
* Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners (e.g. police, local authorities, support agencies)
* Address anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases and complex community issues
* Develop and implement strategies to improve community safety and wellbeing
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior stakeholders
About You:
* Proven experience within community safety, housing, or a similar field
* Experience managing or xsngvjr supervising staff
* Strong knowledge of ASB case management and relevant legislation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and adaptable approach to a hybrid working environment
