What are we looking for?
Skills
* Fundraising expertise – Knowledge of different fundraising methods (e.g., online campaigns, grant writing, corporate sponsorships, donor engagement).
* Communication skills – Strong written and verbal communication to engage donors, partners, and the community.
* Relationship building – Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders.
* Empathy and sensitivity – A compassionate approach and understanding of mental health issues.
Experience
* Grants and funding applications – Familiarity with writing successful grant applications and seeking funding from trusts, foundations, and government bodies.
* Community engagement – Experience engaging local communities, businesses, and organisations to raise awareness, build partnerships, and secure financial support.
* Knowledge of mental health issues – While not essential, experience in the mental health sector is highly beneficial.
