Commercial Gas Engineer (Mobile)
A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is required to support building maintenance across multiple sites in the Merseyside area. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Police vetting will be required due to contract security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete reports
* Respond to reactive and emergency breakdowns
* Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
* Support other team members as needed
* Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales
* Help reduce energy usage on sites
* Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance
* Work flexibly across multiple properties
* Complete all documentation accurately and on time
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures
* Perform additional duties within capability
Requirements
* Full commercial gas qualifications
* Experience in commercial gas maintenance and service
* Experience in mobile service delivery
* Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and service standards
* Strong Health & Safety awareness
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Proactive with strong fault-finding abilities
* Accurate and timely paperwork skills
* Full UK driving licence
