Overview
Bank Primary Care Nurse opportunity to join the Primary Care team at HMP & YOI Hollesley Bay, a category D Prison located in Hollesley, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to support patients and help you succeed.
Hours
The site offers a mix of shift patterns. Monday to Friday: 07.00 to 17.00 or 07:00 – 18:30 or 8:30 – 18:30. Weekends: 07:00 – 17:00.
Salary
Bank hourly rate of £23 (weekday) and £24.79 (weekends/bank holiday).

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group with support from a multi-disciplinary team
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care, seek and act on patient feedback to personalise care

Qualifications required
* NMC Registered Nurse Adult
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* A non-judgemental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
