About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture pupils at a crucial stage in their learning journey, helping them to build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress and attainment
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Support pupils’ emotional and social development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
* Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to high standards and pupil achievement
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A passion for education and making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
