What you will do:
Support the day-to-day operational management of social work teams
Deputise for the Service Manager when required, contributing to leadership and decision-making
Provide supervision, coaching, and professional guidance to social workers and support staff
Assist with service planning, development, and performance improvement
Ensure statutory duties, safeguarding responsibilities, and practice standards are consistently met
Support risk management and promote best practice across services

Qualifications:
Professional qualification in Social Work
Management or leadership qualification (desirable)
Registration and training:
Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Training in supervision, leadership, safeguarding, and risk management
Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
Experience:
Significant post-qualification experience in social work
Experience in a supervisory, senior practitioner, or management support role
Strong knowledge of statutory frameworks, safeguarding, and risk assessment
Experience of multi-agency working and service improvement
Understanding of performance management and quality assurance processes
