Role: Early Years Practitioner
Based: Hemel Hempstead
Start Date: September 2025
Temporary to Permanent
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a Primary School in Hemel Hempstead. You will play a vital role in supporting the development, learning, and care of children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
* Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers to support individual learning needs
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress
* Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times
Requirements
* Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
* Previous experience working in an early years setting
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
