Salary: £70,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: Strong commercial Python engineering experience Experience working within scalable and complex software environments Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems Experience designing and developing APIs Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Strong understanding of modern engineering tooling and practices Previous mentoring or technical leadership exposure would be beneficial Responsibilities: Design and develop backend functionality using Python Contribute to scalable microservices architecture and distributed systems Build and maintain RESTful APIs Drive best practice across testing, CI/CD, and code quality Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams Support and mentor other developers where required Contribute to technical planning and solution design Assist with automation, deployment, and platform scalability Technologies: AWS Backend CI/CD Cloud Support Python microservices Git REST More: We are an established and highly innovative software business developing advanced data-driven platforms used within complex, high-impact environments.
