The DET Technician plays a key role in ensuring that our workshops, classrooms and specialist spaces remain safe, well-resourced and full of possibilities for pupils and staff alike. Working at the heart of a dedicated technician team, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and inspiring day-to-day running of the department. You will support teachers in delivering creative, hands-on practical lessons and help maintain exceptional facilities that enable pupils to flourish. From preparing materials to organising dynamic workshop spaces and ensuring the safe operation of specialist tools and machinery, your contribution will elevate the learning experience across the faculty. Alongside this practical support, you will have the chance to develop your expertise in digital manufacturing and cutting-edge technologies within our outstanding DET Lab, a flagship space that showcases the very best of our forward-looking STE Faculty.
