Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on skills/experience, plus competitive 12% pension benefit

We are looking for an ERP System Administrator to support and advise BirdLife’s ERP users. In this role you will work on systems development projects, contribute to best practice and liaise with third party service and support providers.
How you will do this:
* Develop Unit 4 knowledge for back‑office system functions.
* Support internal system development projects.
* Develop working knowledge of all key interactions and processes in Unit 4.
* Act as the point of contact for Unit4 support and troubleshooting for the BirdLife Global team.
* Develop materials and provide internal Unit 4 and ERP service‑related training resources to all the BirdLife Global team staff.
* Develop and manage standard procedures.
* Work closely with the Business Intelligence developer and Data Engineers to ensure best in class reporting and process delivery.
* Ensure the platform’s maintenance of backup routines to define proof of system recovery processes.
* Ensure internal support tickets are dealt with efficiently and effectively so that users receive a professional, consistent service.
* Liaise with the outsourced support company as and when required to deal with outstanding external tickets and resolving complex queries.
* Create, implement, and maintain innovative solutions in line with budgetary and capacity restrictions.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need great communication skills coupled with a strong awareness of Relational Database Management Systems, ideally with a recognised certification in Systems Administration or Data Science. You’ll have a good understanding of workflows and processes, database concepts and relationships and SQL and other scripting languages. This role is best suited to someone who is structured and methodical in their working, team‑oriented and user‑focused.
