We are looking for a Store Detective to join our team across multiple locations including M&S Camden, Islington, Southgate, Barnet, Hampstead. The role is full time, 45 hours per week over five days, including weekends. All travel will be paid for, with public transport and/or car mileage reimbursed. Pay is £18.81 per hour. Candidates must have at least five years of trackable working history in the UK and a valid SIA front line licence.
Job Overview
As a Store Detective for the UK's premier high street retailer, you will work across our network of stores using your observational skills to prevent theft of stock. Your work is essential in identifying, apprehending, and prosecuting criminals who target our store.
Main Duties
* Observe, deter, and arrest individuals involved in criminal activity in line with the Theft Act.
* Follow the ASCONE process.
* Collaborate with SOC CCTV operators to identify and stop offenders.
* Maintain liaison with police forces and other crime prevention partners to stay up to date with local crime trends.
* Build a local network to identify and disrupt crime.
* Accurately and promptly report incidents.
* Attend court occasionally to provide evidence.
