Position Summary
Finance Officer (Ref: 243535) – Substantive, Full Time, 36 hours per week.
* Band 3 – Salary Range £29,103 – £31,409 per annum*
* Distant Islands Allowance £2,578 pro rata per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Department at NHS Shetland as a Finance Officer, part of a rotational Financial Accounts team covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cashiering and other duties.
Responsibilities
* Manage Sales Ledger operations.
* Manage Purchase Ledger operations.
* Handle cashiering tasks.
* Perform other duties as assigned within the Finance Department.
* Comply with induction standards and the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing.
* Support financial services across the organisation, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Procurement, and Patient Travel.
Requirements
* Relevant finance experience.
* Ability to adapt to core finance processes within a complex organisation.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
* Will join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or complete an update before a formal offer.
