Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends (full time is 40 hours per week)

We are looking for compassionate, confident and dynamic people who want to make a difference in the lives of homeless people. Our role is to provide a safe place to stay and to access support for people who have substance use issues and complex needs. The service delivery model is rooted in the harm reduction approach, based on trauma-informed practice, is strength-based and uses person-centred approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with delivering support to homeless clients with complex needs, using harm reduction methods.
2. Liaising with other agencies to provide support and advocacy.
3. Work with clients as part of a person-centred support planning approach.
4. Work with clients as part of the Support Team assisting to ensure the needs and actions within person-centred plans are addressed professionally.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
5. Motivation towards supporting homeless individuals to achieve focused and positive life outcomes.
6. The ability to form positive, supportive and motivating relationships.
7. Able to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army.
