Job Description
As the Contractor Services Category Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving long-term procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals. Collaborating closely with Operations’ teams as your key business partners, you will lead the development and execution of innovative supply strategies, leveraging market intelligence, risk analysis, and data-driven insights.
This role is integral to overseeing our partnerships with service providers across factories in Europe, ensuring seamless execution of category strategies while driving value for the organization. As a key player in our procurement team, you will have the opportunity to shape impactful strategies and deliver results that directly support ADM’s operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Category Management: Overseeing procurement and strategic management for Repair and Maintenance, defining preferred vendors able to support daily maintenance, shutdown, and project works.
2. Supplier Relations: Conducting supplier sourcing, selection, and contract negotiations while building strong supplier relationships through robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
3. Strategic Procurement: Preparing and managing requests for quotes/proposals and negotiating regional agreements for Contractor Services across ADM.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Partnering with logistics leaders, factory managers, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective solutions tailored to their operational needs.
5. Process Optimization: Developing and implementing processes to enhance stakeholder engagement and promote data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
* Thrive in fast-paced environments with adaptability and proactiveness; strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
* Master’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
* Proven procurement experience (minimum 10 years), with at least 5 years in a regional or global category role.
* Experience in Repair and Maintenance or Capex procurement is mandatory.
* Fluent in English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus.
* Experience in a multinational environment preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills, experience in complex agreements, and familiarity with contract law.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and develop advanced category strategies.
* Capability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Willingness to work 3 days per week from our Poznań office.
