I am working on an exciting opportunity with an excellent manufacturer based in the Stockport area. The business are true market leaders in their field, they are looking to bring in an experienced Extrusion Setter to the site during a period of growth. This is a great opportunity for a specialist in the field to work with a prestigious UK brand that is growing.
Role Description
Operate extrusion machinery safely and in line with production specifications.
Install, align, and adjust dies, moulds, screws, and related tooling.
Perform machine changeovers for different materials or product types.
Monitor product quality and machine performance, making adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or material issues during production.
Maintain accurate production records and carry out routine cleaning and maintenance.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality, and maintenance teams, support safety standards, and assist in training new operators.Skills and Qualifications
Over 3 years experience with Extrusion
Mechanically minded and good understanding of manufacturing
Ability to read technical drawings
