We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Radiologist to join our friendly team at Wirral. Ideally, we are looking for someone with special interests in Gastrointestinal, Urology, or Gynaecology. A locum post would also be considered.

The job plans are for 10 Programmed Activities (PAs): 8.5 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activity (SPA). Additional SPA is available for roles such as Clinical/Educational Supervisor. There is a local agreement at WUTH that an extra 2 hours per week SPA are allocated for monthly audit sessions and teaching during DCC commitments. Flexible and partial remote working patterns are readily considered.
The successful diagnostic candidate will participate in the diagnostic on-call rota and provide weekend working sessions as part of their DCC. There is a 1 PA weekly allowance for diagnostic on-call duties and weekend work. The diagnostic on-call consultant is 2nd on call; the 1st on call is managed by the regional registrar hub and an outsourcing company for evenings and overnight shifts.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in service development and redesign, collaborating with other local service providers.
