About The Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Reporting to the Contract Manager, attending customer sites to carry out remedial works, ensuring all technical work complies with company policies, statutory requirements, Gas Safe Regulations, and industry standards.
2. Managing the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, AC, and Gas installations.
3. Modifying, maintaining, and repairing systems and appliances; producing technical reports and certifications; liaising with management and clients.
4. This is a static role covering various sites within the Dundee area.
What Are We Looking For?
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Additional qualifications in Oil and LPG are advantageous.
* Gas Safe Domestic and Commercial certifications.
* LPG Gas qualification.
* Oftec 101, ComCat, ReFCOM certifications.
* 17th Edition Electrical qualification.
* Strong understanding of Mechanical Services, Gas, and HVAC systems from installation, commissioning, and servicing perspectives.
* Ability to analyze and resolve engineering problems related to Gas Installations.
* Flexible, adaptable, customer and team-focused attitude with honesty and integrity.
* Experience in training and supporting apprentices and trainees.
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining related systems, responding to customer requests effectively.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, providing expert advice.
* Commitment to resolving customer queries and issues.
* Good written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and report writing.
* Computer skills, including use of spreadsheets and word processing software like Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Willingness to work reasonable overtime and participate in an on-call rota.
* Undertake health and safety assessments to ensure high standards of service.
* Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities and additional services.
* Valid driving license.
