Role Summary
The Regional Manager Pre-Sales – Cloud Computing Business will lead and inspire a team of Pre-Sales Consultants across Karachi and Islamabad, serving as the senior technical authority on strategic enterprise opportunities. This role involves designing tailored cloud solutions, conducting workshops, proofs-of-concept, and solution validations, while collaborating closely with sales, product, and delivery teams. The incumbent will develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and sales collateral, ensuring offerings align with market needs and client expectations. With a strong grasp of cloud platforms, security, compliance, and industry trends, the role requires both technical depth and leadership excellence to drive competitive positioning and pre-sales success.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Pre-Sales Consultants across the region.
* Establish KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and support career development of the team.
* Act as the senior technical lead on strategic mid-to-large enterprise opportunities
* Conduct technical discovery, workshops, solution validation, and proof-of-concept demos
* Design tailored cloud computing solutions for the clients.
* Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to align offerings with client needs.
* Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, reference designs, and sizing tools.
* Build technical sales collateral including battle cards, demo scripts, and quick quote tools.
* Collaborate with Sales, technical and product teams to translate market needs into product features.
* Stay updated on competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and industry trends
* Train internal sales teams in technical capabilities, market positioning, and solution selling.
Job Specifications
* 7+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or a related customer-facing technical role with 3+ years of experience leading regional Pre-Sales teams.
* Strong expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise IT, security, and compliance frameworks.
* Proven track record in developing and closing complex technology solutions
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
* Familiarity with Pakistan’s technology ecosystem and enterprise market dynamics.
* Technical certifications in cloud technologies or solution architecture will be a plus
