Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate of choice will have full responsibility for leading an existing team of sales professionals in achieving sales targets and in delivering industry leading customer service. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency in estimating and quoting processes, and overseeing all marketing activities to align with brand values and business objectives. Key responsibilities: Lead and mentor the sales teams to achieve individual and collective goals Developing your team using your existing and growing sales abilities Set, maintain and audit department KPIs Provide consistent, quality leads to the sales team Assist individual reps on a daily basis on all aspects of their role Collaborate with our operations team to align sales strategies with operational capacity and margin goals Work closely with the General Manager to deliver on budgets, ensuring sales targets are achieved in accordance with pricing structures and profit margins, maximising the conversion of all leads to achieve set targets Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all quotes and estimates provided by the sales and estimating teams Continuously evaluate and refine quoting systems for efficiency and effectiveness Preparation and presentation of monthly reports to the board of directors Understand client needs and industry trends to identify growth opportunities Analyse market trends and competitor activities to shape and adapt marketing strategies Deliver a marketing plan in line with the budget Manage and grow the organisation's social media presence Identify training needs and support team development to maintain high estimating standards Design all marketing materials, campaigns, and digital content before release Encouraging the team to generate own leads though approved methods whilst managing leads from internal sources Co-ordinate with the wider JH Turkington Group to ensure brand consistency and messaging accuracy Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity Collaborate cross-functionally with operations teams to support product development and customer satisfaction Qualifications \ experience: Higher level qualification in sales or marketing 5+ years experience in sales and\or marketing leadership Preferably have a manufacturing or construction background but we welcome experience from all industries Strong background in estimating, quoting systems, and CRM software Ability to analyse data and financial reports to guide decision-making High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Driving license essential Skills: Leadership/Management Skills Attention to detail Analytical And Problem Solving Marketing Strategy Sales Management Benefits: Mobile Phone Company Vehicle Annual bonus Group Life Assurance Parking
