Horsforth School is seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Teacher of Computing and IT. We are looking for a teacher who has the ability to inspire, challenge and prepare students for the future in an ever-evolving digital world. Location: Horsforth School, North-West Leeds. Close to Leeds and Harrogate with easy access to transport links.
Contract: Permanent and Full Time. Closing date: 8am Monday 29th September 2025. Start Date: January 2026 (flexible for the right candidate).
Seniority: Entry level.
Hours: Full-time. Salary: ECT/MPS/UPS.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching of Computing and IT to achieve strong student outcomes.
* Work closely with the curriculum leader and the computing and IT team to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
* Inspire a love of computing and IT among students and prepare them for a technologically driven future.
* Contribute to the department and school mission of "Opportunity and Achievement for All".
Qualifications
* Qaulifications or status: ECT/MPS/UPS (as applicable).
* Ability to teach on courses including Cambridge Nationals in IT Level 3, GCSE Computer Science, A-Level Computer Science and AAQ in IT at Level 3.
