Independent Opticians – 3 to 4 Days per Week – £30,000 to £35,000 Pro Rata
Zest Optical is recruiting a Part Time Dispensing Optician to join a friendly and professional team at a well‑regarded independent practice near Amersham. The practice delivers a personalised, patient‑focused service using modern equipment in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
* Dispensing niche and premium eyewear tailored to individual patient needs
* Supporting patients with frame styling and lens selection
* Maintaining high standards of customer care throughout the patient journey
* Working within a large, well structured team (typically 3 to 4 Optometrists, 4 Dispensing Opticians and 3 to 4 Optical Assistants)
* Part‑time role: 3 to 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday, with occasional Saturdays)
Requirements
* GOC registered Dispensing Optician
* Previous experience as a Dispensing Optician within an independent or quality‑focused practice
* Patient focused with strong communication skills
* Professional, organised and detail‑oriented
* Team player looking for a long‑term part‑time role
