Job Description
Our client is a Charity that restores historic buildings and they require a Temp Administrator in their fundraising support. You will need to be a driver due to a rural location and available to start Weds 26th November and interview Tues 25th. We are looking for short-term, flexible administrative support to assist the fundraising team with the supporter scheme and provide backup to the team over the next couple of months.
Hours : Up to 2 days / week – or more depending on workload (e.g. in early December we have a mailing planned when there will be more to do).
Start : As soon as possible.
Duration : to 23 December, possibly also in January, tbc
You will need to have exceptional organisational skills, high standards of customer care, and attention to detail. You will be comfortable with engaging with supporters when handling enquiries into the office by phone, email and letter.
Main duties and responsibilities
* To assist with the day-to-day administration of the scheme by working closely with the Development Manager and the Development Officer (Data and Supporter Services).
* Work closely with the Development Manager and the Development Officer to complete the welcome process for new supporter and manage the renewals and cancellation processes.
* Assist with general office tasks including mail merges, printing, and supporter communications.
* Update event attendee lists and other supporter data.
* Provide backup for other fundraising team administrative tasks as needed. Financial and Database Management
* To assist the Database Officer with the tasks required for the administration of the Friends records within Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up to date information is maintained. General

* To comply with the Key Principles and Behaviours of the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, and other aspects of the Code pertinent to this role.
