The hourly rate for this role is £11.64, and up to £12.88 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day.
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, offering clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
* Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
* Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions, ensuring safe supply of medicines.
* Complying with legal and professional requirements and guidance in Boots.
* Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
* Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have.
You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required; if not completed, training will be supported within 6 months.
We support your professional development towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, enabling registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Your pay and benefits will reflect your qualifications and roles as you progress.
