We are seeking a reliable, confident, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and forward-thinking team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting, particularly if you are considering a future career in teaching. Duties as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise lessons during the short-term absence of teaching staff
* Deliver pre-set work to students and ensure good behaviour and focus
* Manage the classroom environment to ensure a safe and productive learning space
* Support students in completing tasks and responding to queries where appropriate
* Liaise with teaching staff and provide feedback on student progress and behaviour
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills as Cover Supervisor.
* Can manage a classroom calmly and effectively
* Is flexible, adaptable, and professional at all times
* Works well as part of a team and on their own initiative
* Has experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
